Stan Stark, CPA

Stan is the owner of Arbor Creek Tax Service LLC. His wife Julie is a Registered Nurse. 

Stan has an extensive background in tax and accounting.  Stan is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in both Kansas and Missouri. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from MidAmerica Nazarene College, Olathe, Kansas, with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration.

Stan worked as an Internal Revenue Agent with the IRS, where he performed small business and self-employed audits for 16 years. Stan was employed in Public Accounting for seven years prior to acquiring Arbor Creek Tax Service.  His experience there included performing audits, in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Income Tax preparation and planning, Financial Statement preparation, Accounting, and Consulting.  Stan taught as an instructor for the Becker CPA Exam Review Course for eight years.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kansas Society of CPAs.  Stan recently retired from the United States Navy Reserve as a Chief Petty Officer.  Stan is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Joint Task Force Katrina.  He is proud of his military service.
